Enders Gate Update: February 9th, 2024 — New Game Modes and more
We’re thrilled to share the latest developments in the world of Enders Gate, from exciting updates to New Modes to meaningful strides in our cross-chain development. Let’s dive into the details of what’s in store for our players.
Game Development Updates
Adventure Mode Upgrade:
Adventure mode is receiving a nice update, introducing the Quest Game Mode and more challenging AI opponents to battle against. Get ready to embark on story filled quests and face formidable adversaries in this game mode.
Expanded Card Collection:
You’ve asked in our recent AMA’s; the answer is Yes! We’re adding additional cards to the deck builder, offering players even more possibilities for crafting unique and powerful decks. From cunning strategists to fierce warriors, these new cards will add depth and variety to your gameplay.
New Gameplay Mechanics: Anime Ultraman
A new duo of Avatar Trading Cards has joined our Growing collection, specifically Shin Jiro as Ultraman and the mysterious ‘first enemy’, Bemular.
Similar to Dracul, the first Avatar introduced to the game, which grants all cards within a player’s deck an attack boost, these two newer Avatars will introduce a unique dynamic to the Enders Gate battlefield. They bring forth the concept of ‘Ultra Factor Stacks’, a new in-game energy pool designed to act as a combo breaker, enabling players to deploy new battle strategies.
Details on the Avatar Ultraman in-game mechanics:
● Ultra Slash —The Ultra Slash is Ultraman’s primary light attack, where he hurls a lethal disc of energy capable of slicing through almost anything. To activate this Avatar ability, players must accumulate a small amount of ‘Ultra Factor Stacks’ during the match. Successfully activating it inflicts a small amount of direct damage to your opponent’s Life points.
● Specium Blade — The Specium Blade could be considered Ultraman’s heavy attack; think of it like a powerful jab in boxing, but with a plasma powered blade in front of that punch. To activate this Avatar ability, players must accumulate a medium amount of ‘Ultra Factor Stacks’ during the match. Successfully activating it inflicts a medium amount of direct damage to your opponent’s Life points.
● Specium Beam — The Specium Beam stands as one of Ultraman’s formidable moves. In gaming, we’d refer to it as his “Ultimate” ability. To activate this Avatar ability, players must accumulate a large amount of ‘Ultra Factor Stacks’ during the match. Successfully activating it inflicts a great amount of direct damage to your opponent’s Life points.
Details on the Bemular Avatar in-game mechanics:
● Red Orb Beam — Bemular can unleash energy blasts or small orbs of energy from his hands, serving as his light attack. To activate this Avatar ability, players must accumulate a small amount of ‘Ultra Factor Stacks’ during the match. Successfully activating it inflicts a small amount of direct damage to your opponent’s Life points.
● Giant Light Orb — Bemular can generate a massive orb of energy, serving as a potent Heavy attack against his adversaries. To activate this Avatar ability, players must accumulate a medium amount of ‘Ultra Factor Stacks’ during the match. Successfully activating it inflicts a medium amount of direct damage to your opponent’s Life points.
● Specium Beam — like Shin Jiro, Bemular can unleash the powerful Specium Beam. To activate this ability, players must accumulate a large amount of ‘Ultra Factor Stacks’ during the match. Successfully activating it inflicts a great amount of direct damage to your opponent’s Life points.
Dracul, Ultraman, and Bemular are limited drops, meaning once sold out, the only way to obtain them would be to search listings on secondary marketplaces like OpenSea and the 5HG Markplace.
As a heads up, Avatar card Dracul is fully sold out, however, there’s still a chance to obtain the Ultraman and Bemular Avatar cards from some upcoming partnered marketplace drops. Stay informed by Joining the Enders Gate Newsletter at the bottom of our Marketplace home page.
Free Card Rotation Update:
The free card rotation has been refreshed with new additions, giving players the opportunity to experiment with different card combinations and strategies in online matches.
Cross-Chain Development Updates
Skale Blockchain Integration:
We’re continuing our collaboration with Skale Blockchain to enhance gaming-related on-chain interactions. Our goal is to establish zero gas fees for seamless gameplay experiences for everyone. Stay tuned for an upcoming announcement of our Mainnet launch to the Skale Network. Additionally, stay tuned for a follow-up post, announcing our first Grant award from the Skale Network, marking a significant milestone for our team.
Partnership with ImmutableX Blockchain:
We’re excited to announce our official partnership with ImmutableX blockchain. Our initial focus will be on integrating the Immutable Passport to expand our onboarding solutions for players. Additionally, we’ll be working closely with the Immutable team to expand Enders Gate functionality on their zkEVM blockchain in collaboration with Polygon. Enders Gate at the Linea Park
The Linea Park: Gaming Voyage Event presents exciting opportunities for Enders Gate players to participate in various tasks and challenges to claim rewards. Here’s how:
Basic Tasks:
- Log in to Enders Gate using your preferred method / platform.
- Create your own card deck using the Deck Builder tutorial.
- Use your created deck to play at least one match in the Arena Game Mode.
- Earn the ‘My First Duel’ On-chain achievement airdrop by completing a match in the Arena Game Mode.
Bonus Tasks:
- Earn the ‘Linea Park’ On-chain achievement airdrop by reaching account level 3.
Earn an Enders Gate Common Card Pack:
- Join the Enders Gate Discord Server and follow Enders Gate on Twitter.

To celebrate the continued updates to Enders Gate, our growing player base, and the growth of the 5HeadGames marketplace, were excited to present the latest OG supporter reward.

Business Development Updates
- We’re collaborating with Rarible/Skale, Linea, and Immutable for our next small launches, aiming to sell out between 30–50 units of the Ultraman Avatar Cards.
- Our partnership with Opensea/Poly was a success, enabling us to resolve some deliverables in our license deal for Tsuburaya and show some love to our OGs (Original Gamers).
- We’re expanding into esports in schools, conducting pilot testing in New York and Delaware with a total of 30 players. Additionally, 120 dedicated QA testers from Kevin’s college students will help refine the game as we approach the March launch.
